World's favorite bassist's new band/gig/duo or whatever is Duo De Twang. Les Claypool and some other dude bust out their hillbilliness and cover a myriad of tunes from Les's own Primus, Bee Gees among others. But my favorite cover is definitely is Alice in Chain's "Man in the Box." I'm a huge fan of Alice in Chains but this version is so different from the origianl. Duo De Twang's version is delightfully weird. It's awesome!

Still doesn't beat Richard Cheese for strangeness, but then again few do.

Sounds like what I would expect from Les Claypool. You should check out Oysterhead when you get a chance, it is a ridiculous "supergroup" that will expand your brain.
